Day 1: Welcome to the United Kingdom!
Dear Reader,

Hello from London! We arrived safely at St. Pancras International train station and kicked things off with a welcome meeting where we got to know our fellow Rick Steves' tour members and guide Jennifer. In the evening, we enjoyed a Welcome Dinner in Shepherd Market—classic fish and chips to start the trip just right. It was a pleasant and memorable start to our tour. This is where we'll be for the next 7 days on the Rick Steves' Best of London Tour!
We took the Eurostar, a high-speed rail service, from Paris to London! It was a smooth ride that only took 2.5 hours!
